Taira St. John, formerly Floryce Martin, has been approved for her Doctor of Philosophy degree in the field of Psychology from Northcentral University in Arizona. Taira obtained her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in California in 1992, obtained her license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), practiced as a therapist in marriage and family therapy at the Clearlake Counseling Center in Lakeport, CA, and has been for a number of years the owner and clinical director of the center. Taira has also served for the past five years as manager of Family Court Services, mediating child custody and visitation disputes, during which time she helped launch the Domestic Violence Prevention Council. Taira has been invited to make a presentation at a Foundation for Mythological Studies conference on violence at Pacifica Graduate Institute's Ladera Campus on April 6, 2008. She produces and hosts a weekly talk-interview-call-in radio show, "Inside Out," on PKFZ-88.1 FM in Lake County, CA. Taira's mailing address is P.O.
